Does it really need to be 6.5 hours?
I prefer this if I'm going to listen to musique concrete.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cr2yMRMjFGc
>>130079038Does it need to be? No not really. Is it more effective to have each part be a one hour marathon to fully soak in the vibe? Probably, if you absolutely no life (which is why it was so big with autistic teenagers).
>>130079404Normandeau, for me>>130079038Just listen to An Empty Bliss, no it didn't need to be rehashed at 8x the length without innovating or straying from the original concept even slightly.
>>130079038Yes, the music hall won't ever stop

>>130081059Quick funny story, I found this album on /mu/ when I was in highschool and some anon claimed to have found a usb with """mysterious audio""" on it, posted to /mu/ and somebody else eventually ID'd it as Normandeau (the Sonars comp). Was probably just an attempt to manufacture some creepypasta, but the music was probably the wildest stuff I'd heard at the time and has stuck with me ever since.
>>130079038It doesn't need to exist. It's music as an accessory to some pseudo intellectual drivel wrapped up in actual harrowing realities. MUH DEMENTIA MUSIC. Yeah man that shit fucking sucks, but I don't need to hear your boring ass tape loop music to feel a way about it.

I think you can get a decent amount out of it by just listening to each part until you're unable to and simply moving on to the next part when you feel you're ready. Only people who really wanna immerse themselves into the experience have to sit through the whole thing. While it's impact got blown out of proportion by obnoxious youtubers with no background in music, I still think it was a neat project with undeniable artistic merit.
