>>130084594yes although there is never truly silence even in the most remote of places so what i enjoy is the space to allow the totality of sound into my awareness rather than focused listening

You can never really hear silence because you can always hear yourself breathing. We're just so used to it we block it out. Until someone reminds us that is.
>>130084594Yeah
>>130084594My tinnitus has been fucking with me for 20 years so I can't say I remember what pure silence is like
>>130084594I think I bought the wrong White Album.Where’s the text?
The White Album was very loud, anon
>>130084594Yes I do, when it cleanses existence from insufferable noise, it is really pleasant.
>>130084594depends. in a busy city with normies no. in an empty beach or a cliff where you can feel and hear the wind running through beautiful creation yes I love a good silence once in a while.

>>130084594Nah the hundreds of shows i've been to and my drunken headbanging right next to the PA made sure i dont know what silence is anymore.Sometimes at night it goes down to a rumble, not dissimilar to an empty shell where you hear the ocean. My ocean is a bit more distorted tho. During the day it's usually bearable but sometimes genuinely distracting from conversation.Wear ear plugs to shows and limit your time on headphones.
