For me? It's The Edge.
Why is he so edgy?
>>130100507He has to counter Clayton and Bongo's combined smarm offensive.

>>130100497U2 have completely undone any goodwill through their TDS. Before that, it was devoting themselves to saving - the Irish? Americans? Women? Famine victims? Nope - Africans. Imagine charging hundreds to hear you perform then lecturing the audience from the stage about how they should vote in a country where you're a guest and where the citizens made you a multimillionaire. Fuck all four of them.

>>130100497>...we were so commited to peace, we wanted for the belligerence on both sides to end, especially the republican terrorists who were injecting babies in prams with arsenic. We were so dissappointed to find out that Gerry Adams, the head of Sinn Féin which is the political wing of the, of the, you know, IRA, was actually a fan of our song, Sunday Bloody Sunday, which was meant as a PROTEST song against, like I said, against the sectarian conflict which everyone was tired of, at least in my school which was mixed. That's why I screamed out, if you see the concert in Colorado, "this is not a rebel song", but for a good year since its release it was thought of as that, as a reminder of the events in Derry, because we conveniently named the song after the historical date, gave it a martial drum beat and waited for a year until it reached the top ten and we had secured a distribution deal for north America before we came out to clear things out. And look how relevant it is now with the conflict in Israel and Palestine..people are so caught up in their convictions, they forget the only real differences are in our hearts, they forget how important peace is. And we're here to remind them. So yeah, it is one of those great misunderstood songs of rock history, like "Born in the USA". I initially wanted to write a trilogy of it, but Edge threatened to quit the band if I did. He is a great guitarist...and a good friend.
