Suppose cars had never been invented. Instead of all those 50s-60s songs about muscle cars and today's rappers rapping about cars, would we they make songs about their horses instead?
>>130108307GOT MY BRONCO WITH MY BITCH ON THE BACK THIS SHIT COST ME A HUNDRED RACKS SHIT, YEAH, WILD STALLION PACK
>>130108307YO MY HORSE IS A BEASTI RIDE IT LIKE ITS GREASED
>>130108307>spit a horse, faggot
Suppose women had never been invented. Instead of all those songs about women and today's rappers rapping about bitches, would they make songs about their bitches instead?
>>130108307Rappers would ride around on penny farthing bicycles with spinning rims
>>130108379Why wouldn't they simply ride in rimmed out carriages?
>>130108307surely country has done this, before they all got trucks?
>>130108390A lifted carraige with two victrolas pointing out the back
They'd probably sing about trains, there are plenty of songs about trains already
>>130108317>>130108329Spittin' fire. I fuck wit dis.
there are songs about every means of conveyance ever invented. There are songs about walking, crawling, and running.
I'm surprised no rappers ever got into racehorses. They seem like the kind of thing some rapper would love blowing huge stacks of cash on.
>>130110365Until they invent horsefighting, rappers will never care
>>130108307Normal words, but a horse guy!
>>130110379Horse fighting is a traditional Chinese sport. It's not nearly as entertaining as their organized water buffalo fights.
Pyong on the stallion (Chromed-out saddle, bitch)What I'm doin'? (Gettin' money) What we doin'? (Gettin' money)What they doin'? (Hatin' on us) But they never cross(Cash Money still the company and) Bitch, I'm the boss
>>130108307Built to Spill would’ve never recorded their best song.

Cattle Drive
I imagine rappers would have private train cars for long distance travel
i don't know why cars wouldn't exist and radios would exist
>>130113410alternative history scenario: during the early 20th century the government decides to heavily regulate all radio frequencies for military and government use only and Henry Ford for some reason becomes an avid cyclist instead so the automobile is never widely adopted by the masses
>>130113410>i don't know why cars wouldn't exist and radios would existBecause it makes the thread more fun, playa
>>130113410We had intercontinental electric telegraphy before anyone even invented light bulbs, so I guess anything’s possible.
>>130108948train songs >>>> car songseasilyAmerican music started going to shit when people stopped singing about/travelling by trainshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zSXoS_5P64
Trains simply can't compete with cars and airplanes for most traveling
>>130120217Even if that were the case (which it's not, fucking retarded carfag/planefag meme) it would still be beneficial to maintain a diverse mass transit market to reduce congestion and keep prices down.
>>130120217Mutts can't into high speed rail
>>130108378Ridiculous
>>130120586>”high speed” rail>three times slower than plane
>>130108948>>130118530Most rappers probably don't have autism
>BABY YOU CAN RIDE MY HORSE
>>130120586There's a huge amount of space between our big cities. Outside of a few places like the northeast, America isn't made for rail the way Japan or a lot of parts of Europe are.
>>130120586Rail commuting is handicapped by scheduling, it's why countries like Japan are notorious for longer than average commute times (that and their cancerous work culture that demands salarymen work in different cities). This is a well researched phenomenon backed by independent census statistics in each respective country. The US has similar average commute times as most of Europe. The only reason I bring this up is because I think the usefulness of rail commuting is mischaracterized. It's useful for allowing people that may not have the ability to drive a car or ride a bike to commute longer distances but it's not the end-all-be-all like train autists want to believe that it is. Healthy transport infrastructure would involve robust planning around multiple means of commuting but we don't live in Cities Skylines, we live in the real world.
Mustang Sally, huh, huhGuess you better slow your Mustang down, oh, Lord
