Why do black people love Smells Like Teen Spirit so much? Of all the white people songs they seem to say this one is the best. All the rappers love it. Boys 2 men did a cover recently. Why?

I didn't expect it to be bad, Boyz II Men were a world class vocal group before they even got signed.

Lots of great singers have done shitty covers of that song

>Major and unapologetic druggie
>Married some ugly-looking flabby white bitch
>Was always trying to start some petty beef with other musicians (who were WAY more talented than he was)
>Erratic and antisocial behavior
>Left his daughter fatherless at a very young age
Kurt Cobain is spiritually african

virtue signalling.
black ppl virtue signal a wee bit too, and the Beatles, and Nirvana are only a few of the bands they know, so they pretend to like them.

Alice Cooper and his group recently covered SLTS at a show. I feel like he was one of the only ones (compared to other artists that have covered it) that actually made it work. Like the one anon above me said, quite a few have tried (and failed) at making a good cover of SLTS.

If anyone is interested in seeing Alice's version:

Contrarians on /mu/ can't understand people enjoying a great song. It's not rocket science.
