When he talks about touring and his experiences in different countries it was fine. About what I expected, anecdotes about touring and his thoughts and all that. But halfway through he starts throwing in these... monologues? poems? I don't know what to call them. Just streams of consciousness of his thoughts and they sound more like some edgy 14 year old just going on and on about how everyone around him is a maggot, he wants to kill everybody, but also its so good how they treat him like shit because it makes him stronger etc etc.
I genuinely got second hand embarasment from reading those and had to put the book down.

No one in the record store gave him any shit at all. They were all nice to him. I don't understand what he wanted. Should everyone in the store have applauded and started shoving black flag albums at him to sign?
