Name a person in the history of music who've had an easier job than Nick Mason, the drummer in Pink Floyd?

>hey Nick, David and Roger here, play a slow 4/4 groove for 50 years
>>
Any AC/DC drummer
Ringo
Lars
>>
Bez
>>
>>130134332
why do you think that
>>
Any hair metal bassist since they didn't have to do anything but play 0-0-0-0-0-0-0 over and over.

When they went back and put Ringos tracks next to a click, he was dead on.
Damn near perfect.

To drum for AC/DC you need stamina.
>>130135571
Same with Bez. Dancing and shaking for a whole concert is tiring.
>>
>>130134332
so I take it you never listened to ummagumma
>>
>>130134332
Money springs to mind. Maybe only speak on subjects you understand.

Drummers name is Phil, never played one

>>130136363
Because every Pink Floyd song has the exact same 4/4 slow drum beat.
>>
>>130138564
Your genuinely a fool who just revealed his own ignorance.

>>
>>130134332
Animals was an absolutely CHAOTIC album for drums
The Wall had tons of prog shit

Nick Mason was the drummer PF needed. Same as Ringo and the Beatles

>Nick Mason was the drummer PF needed. Same as Ringo and the Beatles
same as Michael Anthony in Van Halen.

too based for mu.
>>
Have you even listened to one Pink Floyd song?
>>
Nick Mason plays with all the strength of a dead child
>>
>>130134332
meg white. but she played a much more important role by keeping jack white in line and ensuring they actually made good records unlike his solo slop
>>
>>130140053
Van halen ain't shit with Michael Anthony. I thought everybody agreed on this
>>
>>130139858
>tom-tom rolls then settle in to a slopw 4/4 groove
Wow, you really owned me
>>
>>130134332
Those Slipknot members that do nothing but walk around on stage.
>>
>>130144881
Like him or not that beer keg tone adds a lot to the Slipknot sound
>>
>>130143010
You're dumb and clearly have listened to one pink floyd song at best. I see this is your sad attempt at coping. And yes you have been owned, multiple times in this thread
>>
>>130138564
I mean he uses the same type of fill once every album but he's a solid drummer and he used to work on the sound and lightning for some shows or eras too IIRC
>>
>>130150095
I listened to Dark Side of the Moon once and the drumming was just hilariously bad. The fills are live Lars levels of terrible.
