Katseye don't know who are they are and what direction they want to go to>sabrina carpenter or megan the stallionim just using them as an example, I'm not really fond of their sexual themes all the time but at least they knows whats comfortable for them and even so they have good music, i cant say for sure, but I’d imagine kpop fans are more offended and upset by katseye than the general public. kpop holds idols to very high, unrealistic standards, so there’s many things that the general public wouldn’t even blink an eye to, yet kpop fans are calling out (dating, going to a club) I don’t have a strong opinion since theres no way to know for sure how much is katseyes choice vs how much isnt also I think theres valid arguments for both sides (they’re adults/this isn’t new/let them do what they want vs male gaze and corporate men are making the decisions/they’re being overexplicit for shock value/they have young fans listening and watching them) i understand criticisms against the way they dress and dance but as someone who went to a college with a big party culture the way they dress and dance is the same as other girls their age were doing when I was in school. in the west sex sells wayyyy more
