Props to the anon who accurately predicted the contents of this box set a year back: >>126697616

Nice one. Looks like we're getting both Brisbane and Ministry of Sound, plus two full discs of acoustic Metallica (!) along with a bunch of other shit.

I always loved the Fan Can studio footage from this era, but it was heavy on Load for obvious reasons. Will be cool to see WIP versions of Reload tracks.

GIMME FUEL, GIMME FIRE, GIMME THAT WHICH I DESIRE

Here's where the post you linked to is actually viewable: https://desuarchive.org/mu/thread/126691488/#126697616

Hardly a prediction if you see the content of the previous box sets
>>
>2 of the most bloated filler filled releases of the 90s both have full overpriced boxsets

You actually get a lot of bang (load?) for your buck with these ones. Perhaps a bit too much. And even if you're not into the records there's tons of great live cuts, and they were cooking during this period.

Plus, Metallica is such a big band that the contents end up on rutracker/slsk within days, so you don't have to bounce a single dime.

It's hilarious how they're releasing super expensive incredibly bloated deluxe box sets of garbage albums too.
Something like that for Master of Puppets could make sense, but fucking Reload? It was basically an album made of Load's leftovers

Now that's a load of garbage

How come you don't vibe with the Loads, my brotha? If it's been a while, you should dust 'em off and take each of them for a fresh spin. They're deep albums imo.

Cunning Stunts and Live In Seattle are still some of the best live shows ever recorded. by any band.

Cunning Stunts is seared into my mind's eye. Kirk skilfully dodging a shower of mystery liquid during the opening number is something I think about at least once every week.

METALLICA GIVES YOU HEAVY BAYBEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Load has some great tracks, I struggle to think of anything on Reload that isn't Fuel which I actually like.
>>
why would a non autistic ever buy this?

Devil's Dance.

Fuel is kinda the worst track. Low Man's Lyric is weak too, and I don't understand why they played it so much during this period. Mama Said is the superior ballad.

Both are good. Take the buttpill.

Fixxxer is kino and a great example of how well produced the album is.
