It is odd how 40 years later this album does better to represent the 2020s than anything released this decade. Why is all modern music fake happiness when the times do not reflect it? You would think it would bring out the realness of people for once.
music has been pushed into hyper-commodification. Its about as artistic as modern day cinema
>>130183940I listened to this album constantly as an angsty teenager and thought it reflected my worldview and perspectives perfectly. Now I find it too uncomfortable to listen too because it sounds like something an angsty teenager would make. Albums like this are only relevant when you're under 25, hate everything and think you and you alone have all the answers.
>>130183940You know not everyone's a broke incel like you right?
>>130187106Exactly. OP is probably 20 and thinks he knows everything about the world. Just you wait, kid...
>>130183940Mainstream music has always been mostly happy catchy songs for people to party, that's not new. Generally people listen to music to get fun not to get sad. That said, I'm sure there is also music like what you posted made today.
>>130183940So true sis. Everything was going fine before that f*cking orange shitstain came back!
This shit was way ahead of it's time
