Top 3 "mall screamo", on my top 20 all-time favorite albums. perfect blend of heavier, almost metalcore, style with Sunny Day/JEW emo melody.

Love it. Some good albums from that time. First 2 silverstein albums. Senses fail ep and let it unfold you. The reason Ravenna. The used first album. The starting line say it like you mean it. Alexisonfire self titled. Thursday. Fear before the march of flames. Before today. Pierce the veil. Fcp remix band.

Discovering the Waterfront is legit one of the top 10 best albums ever made imo, their debut + a Shipwreck + Wind Shifts are some of the best "scene" albums, the pinnacle of "mall screamo".

It is the greatest "mall screamo" album that's for sure, the only 2 albums above it are "meme" albums with around 1k, or less, ratings. DTW has been rising like crazy on rym, just 8 months ago, it was outside the top 10k, now, it's about to enter the 6ks (~69XX)
I believe DTW is at least top 10 albums for the 2000s, better than anything arcade fire, the strokes, or Animal Collective released.

Enjoy your shit taste. Give some serious thought to hanging yourself as well.
