If you had a $2000 guitar and $60 left to buy a distortion pedal, what would you get?
>>130203491what genre do you usually play
>>130203491none cus i don't like distortion
>>130203497So far only drop-D riffs but want to to get into fusion rock and new wave and 80s and anything not too crappy to be played on radio. I have a Behringer HD300 but I've grown out of it, sounds too solid-state.
>>130203491I wouldn't buy a 2k guitar in the first place. I'd get something customizable or swap out the pickups for something better. I would also buy an eq pedal instead of putting all my money on just a distortion pedal
should have spent $200 on a guitar and the rest on pedals
>>130203491probably doordash
3 bottles of gin, 3 bottles of tonic and a PVC pipe to drum on with my dickwhat wa sthe question again?
>>130203635Ehx soul food
>>130203491EHX Hot Tubesthank me later
>>130204312based, i would have also recommended a normal overdrive (i dont even have a guitar yet :D)
>>130203491he should be looking into the distance. you should fix that
>>130206325Soul food is really versatile. You can use it as a transparent clean boost. You can make it a "colored" clean boost, then if you crank the drive it can go into tubescreamer territory

>>130204927Or you could get something with an actual valve in, not pretend CMOS "valve tone"
