AFI is one of the most consistent bands of all time. I'd argue they didn't come into their own until The Art of Drowning and Sing The Sorrow, and everything they did before those albums was really obnoxious because of Davey’s early hardcore vocals, but after that, their output was always high quality and evolutional. They simply do not publish bad songs. Their taste is impeccable, and they are very principled as artists. Davey Havok is one of the best male vocalists of his generation.
