they have some very good parts, but they bury them in cringe to keep up with the concept. the gimmick (not only visual but also the stupid shit loops) made them go viral and it will also make us forget about them in a week.
"the residents" has already been done.

also they would need at least a third member, on keyboards or something. i know it's "math rock" not prog rock, but it sounds so empty and boring.

yeah keys unrionically improve every guitar harmony, keys + guitar are an amazing combo.

also math rock uses keys, American Football uses keys they do math rock it goes well with it too. Usually they use like 3 guitar lines but a keyboard doesnt hurt.

The music doesn't make me feel much. I can't see the costumes when I'm listening on headphones or in my car. It's like riding a moped. Maybe kind of cool on a short vacation, but no more than that.
