Like the other anon said ZZ Top was around that scene as well but it was mainly these obscure psych-garage bands like The Golden Dawn and Shiva's Headband. The cops and Texas Rangers shut that scene pretty quick though on account of them being stoned as fuck hippies and it being 1960s Texas

I'm pretty sure all of the bands featured on those compilations only ever put out a few singles at the most.
