I'm 21. I feel like I ought to listen to and play music that's being pioneered by people of my generation. I mostly listen to extreme metal, which I guess is a Gen X genre. Is there even any good zoomer music with some level of virtuosity and progressiveness?
Your generation has pioneered nothing

>>130214833The only zoomer albums I know are all bandcamp bedroom recording albums. Some are pretty good ngl https://d4rkn3ss666.bandcamp.com/album/stalking-machinehttps://houyin.bandcamp.com/album/dreams-of-departure

>>130214833I refuse to believe this isn’t a 48 year old man larping as a 21yo. No one thinks like this. Everyone just listens to music they like. You are an old guy and by the way, you’re gay.
>>130214833There's good music but fucking nothing with progressiveness. I don't fucking like them but you can say Black Midi are technical.>>130214860If you're a Millennial you didn't innovate shit for rock music either. Rap music and Electronic music yes but not much for rock outside of Blackgaze. I'm not denying the allegations but look at the ground you stand on. dickhead.

>>130215068>black midiJust listened to a few songs. Doesn't seem technical. Nor progressive really. Just bad.
>>130215068Rock sucks im glad us millennialGODS created the best electronic music of all time.
>>130215155I just listened to them, and I have no idea why you recommended it. This isn't pioneering anything. Sounds bad, too.
If I’m being completely honest rock was always pretty overrated
>>130215063man I guess it takes one to know one. how many dicks have you swallowed lately, zoom zoom?
>>130215546What's better?
>>130214860Millennials hardly innovated either outside of niche internet electronic microgenres and nearly all of the "innovative" or "progressive" millennial musician in instrumental music are late gen-x. To give zoomers where credit's due, I genuinely see more proggy/technical zoomer bands get more recognition than I see proggy/technical millennial bands.
