Anybody have hearing loss or use hearing aids? I have congenital hearing loss and never really wore my hearing aids but now it's getting a lot worse so I went in to try some. Music doesn't sound good at all with them and I'd rather just turn my headphones up but that's causing more hearing damage. Not sure I can afford to waste the money if I hate them but also I can't hear shit anymore

But yeah I can empathize, we tried listening through those and they're really tinny sounding (but that's to be expected as we had normal hearing and HA's are usually amplifying the higher frequencies) and I've got tinnitus and profound hearing loss at 8k onwards on one ear.YMMV really, you could get a crappy HA and a meh audiologist or a good quality HA with a competent audiologist who gives a shit about your use case.

Maybe look into them on YouTube if they have some reviews? I have tinnitus in both ears. Lost my hearing completely in one ear for an entire year but it came back thank goodness. Hearing is now pretty good but the tinnitus has gone from rock concert level torture to everyday 3/10 noise. Sucks but at least I don't want to kill myself anymore over the awful noise.
