I came to the realization that they’re the best classic rock band of all time. Longevity, multiple hits, eclectic sound, talented while still having swagger, doesn’t flirt with metal just keeps it pure rock & roll. They’re the ultimate boomer rock band.

Didn’t The Who mog em during the Rock n Roll circus?
>>
>>130242013
Don’t know what that is but their catalog sure as hell doesn’t mog The Stones. The Who is one of the most mid rock bands.

I genuinely think that their four album run of Beggars through Exile might be the epitome of what the original rock and roll sound was going for.

>>130242013
Yes but they really weren't on their game when that was happening and it shows.

Yup. I'd tag on GHS as well.

They weren't forced to compete with the Beatles. They were a different thing. There was room for both and they were friends. Look up who wrote the Stones' first hit and lurk moar until you actually have anything of truth to add.

Yeah pretty much, rock music as a whole is one thing but that rock and roll sound peaked here.

How embarrassing.

This.
>>130242013
Yeah.
>>130242071
They're not mid but I would rank them at the bottom of the big 4
Stones>Beatles>Kinks>Who
