Back in the day I would have been on the 'Nickelback sucks' bandwagon as the general opinion amongst the stoner musician crowd I used to hang around (and most other people) with was that they weren't talented musicians and their lyrics were bad. As I've gotten older I've started appreciating them more and more. Maybe they aren't the most talented musicians in a technical sense, but goddamn did they know how to write a catchy tune. Some of their songs which I don't remember getting much radio play like 'Burn it to the Ground' go pretty hard as well. Let's get a Nickelback appreciation thread going in here.

His voice sounds autotuned into oblivion on burn it to the ground. That shit is hilarious. God nickelback blows ass. The bassist has a good tone, but orher than that, this band fucking sucks a big one.

You guys know that they are a band for middle aged moms, right?

Next thing you're gonna say is that Avenged Sevenfold saved metal or some shit

I see that nothing has changed in the last decade and a half. I'll go back to pretending I don't like them again and listening in secret I guess...
