Death Grips 2023 saw them three times each was amazing in a different way

Oxbow cause i was right up to the stage and Eugene threw his mic stand away from him and it just slightly hit my shoulder, I didnt care as it was literally nothing. went on with the show 2 meters away from the band the whole time, eugene bought me a beer afterwards, said he was sorry and we talked a bit. was cool as fucking hell.
also the slow mosh during the Dopethrone riff at the Electric Wizard show was a standout HEAVY moment, as well as seeing Sleep and Amenra.
oh also Napalm Death and Elder were great shows too.
im forgetting like 50-60 others i've been to, most werent that great

Yeezus tour

The Orb, 1991 or 92. Kind of stole a mates shitbox Skoda that he paid 50 quid for to get there, did half a gram of speed and 2 trips, plus a few shrooms we got from some Welsh lads in the queue, had a wild night and almost crashed the car on the way home cos we were out of it so we parked up and walked the rest. Good times.

Death Grips in 2017 for me. Crowd energy was insane even with the handful of retarded fans and it was dark in there for half the show while they wore laser gloves which made it more intense

Skinny Puppy w/ Severed Heads. Severed Heads had a video mixer projected onto a huge screen. The lead singer would get behind the screen casting a shadow. It was really cool.
Never seen anything like Skinny Puppy before. Started w/ Nivek in a plastic bag, clouds of dry ice and then started convulsing with blood shooting all over inside the bag. Incredible show.

a few candidates
>Smashing Pumpkins late 2010s
Amazing set, amazing performances especially from Billy, countless of my favorite songs, great visuals on the monitor
>Negative Approach 2023 (i think)
They were actually opening for Circle Jerks and Adolescents and they absolutely stole the show, played wayyyy harder than the other supposed hardcore punk acts and while the singer went insane with these hellish eyes and the guitarist literally stood backwards the crowd was best punk pit of my life
>Melvins (2016ish)
Just a tremendously good show with a great set in a great venue, this was my most sober show of all time because I had a DUI months prior and was in divergence at the time
>Built to Spill (2015-17 ??)
Back when they toured with 3 guitarists, don't waste your time seeing them now they need the layers to make the songs work and this show was killer, totally enchanting from beginning to end, I'll leave a side note that Pavement put on a great show with a great set but not quite this good
>LCD Soundsystem (2024)
Almost every one of my favorite songs was on the set, I was close in the crowd and it was groovy as hell and almost every song was way amped over the studio version, they know how to have fun
>Primus (2016/17?)
Gf was out of town and her mom happened to be there more wasted than me. Killer crowd, killer pit, killer set, insanity the whole time
>Ty Segall (2022)
Heavy as shit, wild as shit, crunchy from the getgo and riding off one of their best albums.

I know I'm missing one of my favorites bu its been so long. Neutral Milk Hotel did an amazing show with the entirety of Aeroplane, Mangum looked like he hated his band which was quite amusing. Blondie had a lot of soul despite being a granny. I've seen David Byrne play a lot of his greatest material from the heads but no shit the cover band I saw probably did Stop Making Sense better. Mac Demarco I saw after Salad Days dropped so the crowd was insane and hipster in a good way and band had lot of fun
