Does music have any equivalent? Disregarding sound quality, does vinyl/cassette benefit our health in any way compared to a CD or mp3?

As in playing instruments? Yes, that has benefits. Sound waves are just sound waves though. Digital and analog are just the method used to store them, so it's not really analogous

Really?
Attention span being affected by the light being emitted... perhaps... but I don't see how that would affect memory besides the fact that books inherently have multiple dimensions so you can associate memories of what you read with where the words were located in the book/in physical space (e.g. which page, quadrant, etc.).
