She's indeed part of the RBF of modern jazz. Diana, Patricia Barber...Ugh. Their studio albums are fantastic and that's part of why they're so popular. Every goddamn hi-fi shop in the 2000s showing off stupid expensive equipment would showcase ut with Diana Krall or Patricia Barber recordings, but if you ever met them in person they were real stuck-up cunts who thought they were better than everyone else. A lot like Miles Davis being a notorious asshole in person. Oh well, at least you don't have to read liner notes or interviews with these guys.
