Will this kind of thing make me a better guitar player?

I'll get this one, with adjustment option and a counter.

as a guitar player of 15 years im completely guessing here, it might give you more fret-hand endurance but i don't really imagine a big benefit honestly. hand stretches would be a way better use of your time

playing makes you a better player. these things do nothing for your finger calluses. grip strength means nothing if it hurts your delicate soft lady fingees when pressing down on the strings

There are 10 year old kids who can't even pick up a gallon of milk and they're way better at guitar than you or me.
Try playing.

I always squeeze my capo like this . Sometimes I pretend it's a gun, maybe like a Star Trek phaser

What does grip strength have to do with the finger dexterity exactly?

stop fooling around and pick up a guitar

Ok, maybe this will be enough. I have a limited interest in my guitar, so I've bought a bass to complement it. So I'll be getting more hand exercise in total, maybe even an hour daily, for the benefit of both instruments. Getting it this week.

Here you go. I think you can remove the rubber for callus training

You shouldn't be gripping your guitar hard, it should instead be relaxed. You should instead work on positioning your guitar. Action matters as well.

I've been playing for 25 years and I've never touched one of these. There is a point real early on where doing bar chords hurts your hands but once you're passed that there's no reason for enhanced grip strength, I guess it could help if you're not through that yet but they always seemed like a gimmick to me, just some bullshit to sell

I have a pair of these and I'm up to 50 kilo so far
as for OP's question idk how grip strength would help you play geetah better
