What's the best ambient album to listen to while reading?
None, you're supposed to listen to it on it's own. I don't care what Eno said

>>130266353none, why would you need any other stimulation when reading something worthwhile?I used to play stuff like this while reading when I lived in a depressing big city, though:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPZkdNFkNpshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl2v9ydanrI
robert rich is pretty cool, he makes albums specifically for sleeping to but i think they double well as soundscape music for reading. plus they're all long as hell and uncomplicated so no pressure to listen closely or read faster or whatever. Somnium is a classic
>>130266353cant concentrate to read if there is any noise at all. So noise cancelling headphones with nothing playing.
Merzbow
>>130266353silence, unironically try to focus more. Altho it depends if its fiction you dont need a lot of focus just hear whatever fits if its fantasy then fantasy ambient, if its sci-fi then sci-fi ambient like Halo 2 music or somethinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MsxlQMyreMBut yeah, overall, silence if you need to learn, focus on learning!

I don't live in a silent environment so I have to listen to ambient drone music in order to concentrate while I read. Does anyone have any good ambient drone recommendations?
