You know I really appreciate the stereo spacing of this track It's very fun to listen to on headphones or even speakers that's probably why they got it in an iPod commercial It's very spatially dynamic
>>130266969Between the extremely basic ABABCB song structure, the bog standard power chord riffs you could come up with in 3 minutes tops, & the super cheesy drums and bass only verses, its got all the ingredients required for a super bland, boring and forgettable rock song, perfect to throw into the menu soundtrack of a FIFA game, or at least you would think. But no. somehow, someway, it still manages to be a really annoying and catchy earworm, that will stay in your head whether you like it or not until you're sick of it. I'm not sure what it is about it, maybe it's the repetitive 1 & 3 & 1 & 3 & 4 & 1 vocal rhythm in the verse? Or maybe it's the reverb soaked "I'M AT A PLACE CALLED VERTIGOOO" in the chorus, or potentially even the shitty 4 chord power chord riffs that I mentioned in the beginning that gives it its earworm hook.
