>"Anon, check out this underrated album">look it up>it's rated highly by everybody who's reviewed it, it's just obscureWhat are some ACTUALLY underrated albums, /mu/? Stuff that's better than what the critics and review sites say they are. Stuff that makes you think "Why the fuck do people dislike this?"
The only criticism this album gets is that it's a 1:1 clone of ITCOTCK and for that reason it's considerably thrown aside or overlooked in King Crimson's discography as if being 'samey' is indicative of its actual quality. It's better than ITCOTCK by a mile.
Never Say Die, not heavy but rather catchy and way better than Tech Eck
>>130269707The most underrated albums tend to be those that are performatively hated by music critic types that are eager to prove that they disapprove of some uncool trend or subculture.Insane Clown Posse - The Great MilenkoManowar - Gods of WarYes - Tales from Topographic OceansKenny G - Breathless>>130269740Lizard is the most underrated KC album but this is a good example too

>>130269743Cobrah's EP CobrahAll people say is its porn music but hell yes it is. Its so much better at being porn music then most stuff is being other stuff. Good Puss, SUCK and Brand New Bitch are a top songs in the decade and nobody knows this EP even exists. Drip N Drip is that beat that just gets you voguing.
>>130270573Tormato and Big Generator are also better than they get credit for

Bowie doing jazzy hip hop was fun. Shame he didn't tour for it.
>>130269707The Supertramp albums after Roger left. People either don't know about them or don't like them because they're not as "pop" but that's exactly why they're better.
