Are there any bands in this genre that use synths? I'm not too big a fan of Unwound, but I think the synth that's layered into Corpse Pose is really great. I've been getting into Brainiac as well, but to be honest I don't think they lean into it as much as they could, or maybe my fondness for them only extends so far.

>>130276893check out Brainiac's later releases especially their 1997 EP if you haven't. there's also Six Finger Satellite and The VSS
>>130276893its more on the punky/garage side but you might like jay reatard's old band Lost Sounds, rocking songs with cool, complimentary synth and organ parts, their discog is pretty deep and worth a listenhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzZ1H5XTuTs
>>130278536Funny enough, that's my least favorite release of theirs at this point. I've tried SFS before, several different albums, and couldn't really get them, same deal with the VSS.>>130278882Can't say I'm a fan of garage or jay reatard, but thanks for contributing.
