this week I have been mostly listening to weird shit. I listened that Maria & the Mirrors album that OPd a thread, was actually really good
also I got cured by music in a way that hasn't happened for years, I'd been awake most of the night last Thursday was trying to work on Friday and couldn't concentrate and was getting stressed because there was shit I thought I needed to get done and I had a cup of tea and put an album on to try to chill out and half fell asleep at my desk and had a semi-hallucinatory experience to Sproatly Smith - Watching You its a simple enough track but its got these phasing drones and hypnotic vocals and as it ended I woke up properly and felt at peace and all my stress had fallen away heres the track so you can tell me how shit it is if you like I wont even care its about how ancient oak trees have been watching us for centuries and feeling a mixture of pity and disappointment thank you for reading my blog

doesnt it? I listened to some of this brazilian dude who I thought was the composer of the cow bull concerto and it was being played on some weird old lute thing and a viol de gamba which is like a retarded baroque cello. I thought it was a new composition for these old instruments. but it was all in foreign so I might be wrong
