Whats the problem with AI music? Billions of people listen to electronic music where all sounds are created by a machine already. What's the difference?

>>130286279Shalom OP! the problem is ai tools made it easy for multi billlionaire companies to steal the songs and copyright the artisthttps://www.reddit.com/r/antiai/comments/1szf8tv/company_steals_singers_songs_with_ai_then_files/
>>130286279synthesizers are still deterministic, there are no different than a violin or a guitar. I don't see your point.
>>130286279>>130286303the difference is that in one case someone actually composed the music and in the other case they did not
>>130286440Cool, opinionated folks in the years (2022-n): copyright is obvious bullshit legalism impeding creativity.Cool, opinionated fellows these days: nooooo you have to respect copyrights! also I hate jews now.
>>130286279a human oversees and controls the synthesizers with conscious choices.
>>130286279>>130286920To expand on this thought, listening to "ai music" is like listening to a synthesizer preset. Artists arrange their instruments' output (notes, brushstrokes, etc.) to form complete works. If AI music tools are just new instruments, they're instruments whose output is complete works. What would a "song" look like composed of this sort of "note?" That's a question good AI art can try to answer. Listening to a singular "song" from Sora is like plucking a guitar string and calling it entertainment.
