I’ve been playing guitar for a long time, and had mentioned wanting to take classical lessons to my girlfriend. She mentioned she was also super interested in learning and had sold a guitar a while back that she enjoyed playing.

Her birthday is in a couple weeks, and I think a guitar is a good gift because I think good gifts are things people will use and enjoy more than a couple times but I am also aware of the possibility that it sits and collects dust until she sells it (again). The thing is, she is left handed and she has hilariously small and weak hands. Like even for a girl, she is hilariously weak so I was thinking a 3/4 scale nylon string guitar would be something she could learn on and develop dexterity/play barre chords without getting frustrated by not being able to physically manipulate the strings.

What is the absolute cheapest left handed nylon string classical guitar that has good intonation/stays in tune/is playable?

How it sounds is irrelevant, it’s a beginner instrument. Thank you. Pic unrelated.

depends really where you're from. Depending on the country, you can get some high-quality instruments that are built nationally or locally, but if you just want a brand that sells pretty much everywhere yamaha has a lot of high-quality budget guitars, nylon, or steel string

Yamaha is really your only choice if you want under-scale guitars as they, alone, cater to the student market, and so have 1/2- and 3/4-scale models for children.

This isn’t your secret virgin club, loser. You’re a newfag and you really oughta leave/never come back.

my gfs been lazily learning guitar for yeas on regular acoustics and I'd say her biggest problem besides lack of consistent practice is fat hands

Why are you dating a fat chick, anon?? How big is she? Tell us her stats

Shes 5'2, 200 lbs. Mother to my child, absolute love of my life and an artistic savante chuddette. Theres not a woman on earth I would take over her. AND I wish she would be healthier so she could live longer (in her brain she thinks she'll make it to 90 but I tell her fat people don't live that long regularly). If you're still reading I'd say that she won the genetic fat girl lotto and the distribution is to all the right places

>5’2 and 200lbs
Holy shit lmao. She is as wide as she is tall! That’s insane, your woman is a brute who won’t make it past 40-50 at this rate. How do you afford the food she has to be eating nonstop every day?

Good lord, dude. Get her on ozempic for her sake, if not yours.
