Did some carpentry work at an old guy’s house and he had some guitar stuff out, and we got to talking about guitars and he brought me into his music room and I got to play his 1954 Goldtop (wasn’t very gold anymore, had long been worn out) that belonged to his dad and MAN what a killer guitar. He had a 1957 Strat he showed me pics of but he had just dropped it off last week got a refret so I didn’t get to see play that. He had a few old Vox amps but his go to amp was a blackface Vibrolux Reverb and that thing sounded great. Old dudes with old guitars they’ve had for ages and ages is really cool.
