Only a handful of their tracks have any real resemblance to the Smiths, mostly the ballads. Animal Nitrate or Heroine or tracks like that can hardly be compared to Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now. If anything they're more Banshees than Smiths or Bowie, the other comparison that gets chucked around. Brett is the male Souxsie Sioux.
