As a musician, nah but he was a likeable man and good entertainer. The rest of Black Sabbath deserve the credit as pioneers, Ozzy was just a normie Beatles fan that kept finding himself at the right place at the right time. He gets the credit for all of the musical projects that he had the least input in and had a reputation that was completely made up by fans, people were always shocked to meet him and be confused that he is just a mild mannered Brit.It was impressive that he was able to perform consistently at such an old age

Yes. He had a really distinct vocal style. A lot of Geezer rock and hippieslop from the late 60s/early 70s had that gay vocals, trying to sound black or something. Ozzy did something totally different. Black Sabbath are one of the only boomer rock bands that has actually aged well.
