Are you capable of listening to shoegaze/dream pop anymore?

I'm in my late twenties and listening to these genres just makes me feel too much pain about the times I experienced in the past and the things I will never experience again or never experienced. For me it brings up memories of when I tried transitioning at 19, made friends at university, went to parties and then detransitioned once I realised it was all a cope.
Now I'm a disassociated loner working a min wage job and I've become literally incapable of listening to the music I was listening to back then without breaking into tears for an hour.
Just all of those experiences and sinful and fleeting pleasures have become a source of pain in my life.
What music are you incapable of listening to now?

There are certain things I struggle to listen to because the nostalgia is almost overwhelming, anything I was listening to in my teens-20s can do this.

>sad teens
No wonder you're all always taking it out on people older than you.
