They don't. They just sound fat. And best singing voice according to whom? The best singers I've ever heard were always relatively lean. Michael Jackson, Corey Taylor, Andy Bell, Dave Gahan, Roland Orzabal, literally every J-Rock/J-Metal singer. I can go on and on. Fat voices just sound full of fat.
