>>130322755Gotta assume you mean that in a negative way. Ive never heard Vampire Weekend, but I like this album and the previous one a lot. At first I couldn't get into it because it was too poppy, but it's deceptively simple. There are a lot of interesting elements going on that reward repeat listens, imo.
surprising how well that Arabic instrument fits into traditionally American sounding acoustic songs
