What would kort think of the modern world?

Whe would be married to Hayley Williams and would be raising his two sons he had with her. He would've been considered today the Daniel Day-Lewis of music, in every aspect.

He'd be living in a little cabin in ireland and would be doing his awful paintings, he would probably have a shitty celebrity art show in LA like Adreian Brody

I genuinely believe, had Kurt not killed himself in in 1994, would have lived on to kill himself in 1995.

he would have been on the plane with seth macfarlane on 9/11

If Kurt hadn't died, the band would probably have one more album left in them before breaking up in the late 90s. In the early 2000s Kurt starts briefly starts a Supergroup of other 90s alternative has-beens, they go on one tour and release one album with a couple of charting songs before breaking up in the mid-2000s. Kurt retires to a house in Beverly Hills where he becomes one of those C-listers in Hollywood who make occasional cameo appearances in TV and movies and shows up on the podcast and talk show circuit once in awhile
