I feel like reminding people that the song in question here is called 'Radio Free Europe'; in other words, it's based off-of good-old-fashioned and benevolent CIA propaganda efforts in Eastern Europe. I was not born in America, and this is one of those rare instances where I am thankful for that, because why anyone would 'appreciate' or 'analyse' a song directly based on (and vaguely about) CIA propaganda efforts is absolutely-fucking bonkers to me.
Anyway, a lot of my experience reading about history and, I guess, not being indoctrinated has just led me to renounce any enjoyment of this song. Refusing to 'appreciate' this track is sort-of like making a dietary switch.
