>>130342519You are the homosexual uncle of someone, aren't you?
>>130342468I don’t think any other band or voice has been with me through difficult moments in my life as much as JD/Curtis. RIP Ian.https://youtu.be/KykUJ_Ug1t0?si=NaI5Md-tITnMqxoQ

The only thing good about Goy Division was Hook's base, beside that it's your typical limp wristed depressive music
he died so new order could live, thank you ian
>>130342831Joy Division was a billion times more influential and important than the gay bar version New Order
I don't get the appeal of New Order. All their albums is like 80% duds with a few good songs. PC&L for example, terrible album overall but Age of Consent and Your Silent Face rules.
>>130342556Not them, but they are not exactly wrong. Bernard Sumner is a much better lyricist than Ian ever was. Even Peter Hook, who has had a difficult relationship with Bernard for the last 20 years, admits it. Instrumentally, New Order is much richer, their sound is more diverse and experimental, and constantly evolving. The only bad thing about New Order is that some of the lyrics are... creepy af. Take, for example, the "Sub-culture" track and the use of the word "shaft" in a vulgar, sexual way, or "Age of Consent," or "The Perfect Kiss" ("Tonight I should have stayed at home // Playing with my pleasure zone").
>>130342921>Bernard Sumner is a much better lyricist than Ian ever wasLol, lmao even. Rofl, if you will.
>>130342872>PC&L for example, terrible album overall but Age of Consent and Your Silent Face rules.Leave Me Alone >>>>>>>>>> Your Silent Face.Besides, PC&L isn't even their best album, Low-Life is. Brotherhood is the second best.
blue monday just mogs, is all
>>130342947>Low-LifeAnother 80% duds album.>BrotherhoodOnly Bizarre Love Triangle is worth a listen and the best version is on Substance.
>>130342468I remember watching Control when I was a teenager and thinking Curtis was a piece of shit but having lived longer and been through relationships and suicidal depression I take back everything I saidhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EdUjlawLJM
>>130342872It’s not about albums dummy it’s about the singles which are godlike

>>130342519MANY are saying this
>>130342939Regret mogs every lame, stupid, sophomoric thing Ian ever wrote
Joy Division and New Order might as well be two completely different bands.
>>130344938And they're both excellent. Arguing about which one is better is a gay and stupid thing to do with your time.
> One of TG’s many admirers was Ian Curtis, lead singer for Joy Division, who, like P-Orridge, hailed from Manchester. Curtis was particularly taken with the TG track “Weeping” and befriended P-Orridge. P-Orridge maintains that he and Curtis plotted to have Joy Division and TG play a show together and then announce, at the gig’s conclusion, that they would quit their respective bands and work together from then on. P-Orridge took steps to book the concert in Paris, but it never happened. On the night of May 17, 1980, Curtis called P-Orridge and sang “Weeping” over the phone. Later that night he hung himself.Ywn listen to Discipline .feat Curtis
When shit really hits the fan you don't need cheering up, you need someone who understands what's going on. Ian Curtis saved my life many, many moons ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpPdeNLEwB4
>>130344948>Arguing about which one is better is a gay and stupid thing to do with your timeNew Order fans are literal queers and the ones who always start the comparisons. OP wanted to talk about Joy Division, now take a look at the very first reply lol
>>130345815Maybe if Joy Division wasn't so shitty then New Order Chads wouldn't have to save this thread
>>130345440https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RsQyfJEXkMNot sure if I'd like Psychic TV better or less with Ian Curtis as a member.
>>130342872their best album, Substance, is a compilation, so that tracks
>>130342947>Brotherhood is the second best.Utterly based opinion. To answer the OP, for me its https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WS1PU4kZ2ao
>>130345440i would rather kill myself than sell my talent to, and associate with that retarded trotskyte tranny. that explains why he hung himself
>>130345909Joy Division is better than New Order but I've only listened to New Order for the last 20 years, because I'm not a cringe teenager anymore. The only exception being pic-related, can never tire of it.
Let's all listen to Iggy's The Idiot and watch Stroszek.
>>130349215Unironically sounds like a great night
RIP Ian. He wrote some bangers while being a depressed epileptic. Also M*rrissey is such a giant faggot he should of died instead.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj3HOklzUTo

>>130344948This. Unfortunately children like to have console wars.
>>130342468And thus the only talented (and good looking) member of Joy Division died
>>130344681>deep cutit's their 2nd most streamed song, how is that a deep cut in the slightest?
