very few bands have ever had such a clear idea of what is supposed to happen at the climax of a dramatically building guitar solo: you cross through to the other side and emerge floating in the pure aether, and for a brief moment you overhear the chattering of higher intelligences in a strange language like the song of birds. Then you wake up back on solid earth.
