I feel like nobody has ever listened to that song on headphones in the dark, its the most evil song ever, the sound design is actually sickening. The way it has ironic detachment to death and the feeling like you are hearing some murdered dudes last things he heard before he died and went to the last second of his consciousness its really disturbing and unique to any other song. I wonder why that doesn't get referenced more its a amazing song but I also extremely hate it its horrible.

it was an okay album but in retrospect it was massively stroked because their last LP was shit and there wasn't much good rock going at the time, lots of other modern rock artists actually did albums that had more longevity, Viet Cong, Daughters, Ty Segall, fucking St Vincent even
