The threshold for popular rock musicians is so fucking low now that you lose your mind when there's a little spike in popularity for somebody nowadays. You'd lose your mind if you were around during Nirvana, Green Day, Linkin Park, Oasis, Marilyn Manson, Fall Out Boy, MCR, etc off the back of their first or second album released on a major label. Maybe you were around and you're not just taking the time to step back and think about things properly.The hype for this band will fizzle away, just as it did with Greta Van Fleet, just as it did with Sleep Token.
