I am not upset by trannies because I think they ought to act more masculine or more feminine as prescribed by their sex or god or something as simple as disgust. Specifically the issue is the ideology around self-identification having value and external validation of it being essential to well-being. It's a delusion, and it's ego worship, and everyone who is sucked in by it is worse off at a fundamental level and becomes less capable of real introspection, improvement, happiness, etc. It makes me upset that people are so headstrong in promoting such folly that nothing I can do could prevent someone I love from succumbing to it. Promoting stigma is the only way to combat it.

I understand it perfectly well. I disagree fundamentally that the concept of gender is relevant at all. "Gender dysphoria" is a total fabrication. Men can be feminine, women can be masculine, they can fit in despite these things and always have been able to, with more or less difficulty depending on their environment. The issue is not that transgender people don't conform and I'm huffing and puffing that they don't express themselves according to my aesthetic sense. The foundational ideas around "the self" and expression that a person must ascribe to to get caught up in transgenderism are already toxic to themselves and others and "allies" affirm and solidify them. If the issue was simply "people ought be able to express themselves in varying degrees of masculinity or femininity regardless of their sex without harassment" there would be no debate.
