Is it worth spending more money on “better” tubes? I’ve always just bought JJs because they’re cheap and have always done me well. I’m buying some new tubes for two old used amps I’ve got and am just gonna get JJs again because they were cheaper amps and I don’t want to spend more on tubes than on one of the amps, if it’s got me thinking about fancier tubes for my nicer amp instead of just the usual more affordable tubes
