>>130736445Go by feel.
>>130736342Doesn't here there and everywhere only feature finger picked electric guitar? Why does everyone strum it on acousticit's an easy conversion but they're blatantly teaching the wrong thing
>>130736456How do I *learn* feel
>>130736445When understanding all music the silence is what gets overlooked the most.
What does your recording setup look like?
>>130736459Just do it over and over until you find something you like>>130736380>plasticshit

>>130736463tonemaster twin reverb xlr out into ik axe i/o interface couldn't be easier
>>130736342It's pronounced Lay-Vay by the way.
>>130736342Sex with this ugly hapa bitch
>>130736503what does that look like? i use a computer for work so i like my setup being part of my practice area in my living room so i don't have to be in front of a computer
>>130736380
>>130736461Nah I understand the importance of silence in music, it's partly why I think a lot of good lead guitar tracks would sound boring outside the mix.But I consider silence/not strumming to be a part of a strumming pattern
>>130736463
>>130736380did The Who steal the target logo from The Kinks?
>>130736538it's just an amp under a desk plugged directly into an interfaceI'm not posting a pic because my desk is a mess and I'm not cleaning it up right now

Is this okay progress for 5 months? I started in January. I'm trying to learn Prophecies Foretold by Dehumanized. I've been practicing it for a few days now.https://vocaroo.com/1ouNf7VPt8lBhttps://youtu.be/AuuF4Dt0X_w
>>130736471Ummmmm sorry sweaty but it’s aluminum>>130736550Gotta get a Glarry sticker now
>>130736342i know 335s are huge, but holy shit she must be tiny
Redpill me on Gibson/Martin/Taylor acousticWhich is best for a mix and easier to tweak? Which do you prefer? I've heard bright high ends are very hard to bring down
>>130736342If I like Les Claypool, does that make me a les-bian or a redditor
>>130736445up down up down until you get bored and try other pattern
ObservationAmong most musicians, seeking specific and usually expensive equipment is a highly personal journey reserved for extremely experienced players who are playing at a professional level and can actually extract the tonal and intonation nuances from say, a $6000 clarinet or a piano that costs more than the average /gg/ poster’s house. Among electric guitarists, it is simply a quest to make the instrument not sound like absolute fucking dog shit in isolation and finally play something pleasant sounding without a full band covering up the electric guitars usual sterility and harshness, and rather than being as limitless as the musicians skill, the pursuit of better shit hits a performance ceiling relatively early and everyone benefits except people who only, only ever use their gear to play with a band. Thus the best guitarists openly mock the worst by playing on squiers and solid state amps, while beginners and amateurs buy gibsons and tube amps just so their dad won’t yell at them.
>>130737816Observation People who have better things than you are actually better than you.
I now have three (3) Celestion Blue guitar loudspeakers
>>130737841You may not have any gigs unc, but at least you have really good tone in the room
>go blind as a baby>become guitar virtuoso anyways>play a squierkek
>>130737883>plays a quality japanese made instrument>impoverished brazilians use this to justify being unable to spend more than $40 on a guitar
>>130737928>brazili heard sam became a helicopter pilot recently i wonder how that's going
The glarry posting is getting old
>>130737148Tone changed drastically by the end. Sounds alright and breddy gud for 5 months. I dunno how it sounds in the room maybe it was just room reverb and a phone mic.. but it might benefit your practice better if you reduce the gain so it's not too compressed so you'll be able to tell if your attack and rhythm is off from what you're trying to learn. And minimal/no reverb. Good luck man

>>130737928>>130737942Imagine being mad at a brazilian catfucker five years later kek. >THIS REMINDS ME OF WHEN SAM MADE FUN OF MY GIBSON>ay filho de puta gibson is shit man you wasted enough reals to buy a house i play betta than you onna anything and i have aids *grabs cat and fucks it so it meows I Was Made For Loving You Baby*

>>130737928>Made in America is high quality... unless it's Made In Japan
>>130737958Thanks. Its a phone mic and they were 3 recordings over 2 days so the sound changed for sure. That final riff was actually the first one I played and I was getting the pedals dialed in still. Accidentally left a bit of gain on the knob on the hm2 going into the metal zone. I do like how it sounds in the first two riffs. I definitely play stuff with less distortion on my e standard guitar. Just the metal zone or the clean or acoustic channel depending on the music. Im using the pedals like this. Death metal is definitely my favorite to play though. I love the music and the songs are so full of so many different things for me to learn as a beginner.https://youtube.com/shorts/HN-xA4VazQY

>>130738289Nice>>130738119Yeah man there's an infinite things to learn, even as you get better and the technical difficulties slowly get out of the way over the years. Just always keep learning new music, may it be a lick/phrase/riff and better yet a whole song. Goodluck on the path
