I saw these guys a few days ago, and it made me look more into their latest music. Holy shit, the fall off is insane since this album. No idea why the singer Ed Roland and his brother dress and act like gays now. They dress more gay than any rock star I’ve probably ever seen. The band released an album today and didn’t even play a song from it, or promote the album in any way at the concert. Though before the show they were sure to advertise their merch on the screen. That read “Don’t forget to buy your Collective Soul merch”. That immediately made me think this might be a lame show. The concert was average but the crowd loved them. It was funny when he was going on about love and peace, and talking about how his dad was a minister, and wanting people to hold hands like they were in some new age church, only to then lose his shit for a moment and tell a fan suddenly to put down some sign because people can’t see. “I won’t play until you put it down. You’re not fucking listening”. Kek. I felt bad dragging my buddy along to this one

Collective Soul haven't been relevant since before I was born and I'm 27. Seeing them in 2026 and expecting anything above county fair tier performance is asking too much
