what is the last song that genuinely made you cry?
A song has never made me cry before

>>131832301Probably something from Technique of Relief by Susumu Hirasawa. I was listening to it a lot earlier this year. Moon Time, Ghost Bridge, The Man from Narcissus Space, World Cell - there's at least four songs from that album that can make me cry if my head is in the right place.

Mahler 2's finale gets me every time whether I'm in a good or a bad mood.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cneu5M0m7BM&t=1848s>>131832401Excellent choice
>>131832986I'm not even a fan of Mahler, and that one gets me too. Undeniably beautiful stuff.

>>131833161Luv me some YLThttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fD4T8_pl8aoI remembered being driven around New Jersey in the autumn (admittedly, the pretty parts that make it the Garden State, and not Trenton - and Newark is ugly too) and what a stark contrast it is to the desert I live in now, and not listening to this song, but having it stuck in my head.I recently put it on and started crying a few seconds in. I would've given anything to have grown up in the northeast instead of the sterile, soulless, misery inducing hellscape of suburban Florida.
I know it's made for it but Sufjan Steven's Fourth of July. My Mum wasn't very well at the time. She's doing a lot better now.

>>131833272i'm from NJ myself and, for all the flack this place catches both from inside and out, it has made for a good life. i've thought where i'd want to live if i ever moved away, but i wouldn't really want to live anywhere outside of this northeastern suburbia. god's country.even outside of the natural splendor of the state, YLT is from hoboken, a small city across the water from NYC, an equally beautiful place.
>>131833547>YLT is from HobokenOh yeah, it's why I know of them. I was born in NJ, and my father spent most of his adult life there, and picked up a few of their albums along the way (Little Honda and May I Sing With Me still sit in the remnants of his collection). We moved to Florida when I was a wee baby to be closer to family (what a mistake that was). Somehow, he didn't know The Wrens. Here's another crier.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVsRbGcQBJU>it has made for a good lifePangs of jealousy. I felt the same way watching that kid in Rocket Science bike around his neighborhood.

For me its tonight, tonight by the smashing pumpkins. It fills me with nostalgia for something i never got to experience, possibly the most heartbreaking feeling i felt
The 1975 song called Chocolate. It reminds me of my ex girlfriend. 8^{
