I'm currently working on a BM album. I use virtual amps and master it using tape sim VSTs. I'm kinda torn on how lo-fi I should go. Personally, I love lo-fi and have a very high tolerance for it, but I'm wondering if I'll be gimping my ability to gain an audience if I go too far with it. Another thing is there's lo-fi with tons of high end static and lo-fi with a no high end and tons of low and lower mid end. Which do you prefer?
