I once again bought parts for a bike I said was finally finished.
>>
I finally cut off excess steering tube off my bike. No more excess spacers at the top of the stem anymore.
It took me only five years.

Neat

but what if you want it higher?

I practically gave away 2 bikes to slim down my stable. Now I'm eyeing marketplace daily.

after 5 years?
>>
>>2047971
maybe? What is you want to sell it?
>>
I bought some parts to convert my 1991 rigid MTB into a gravel bike.
>>
>>2047982
good luck. I tried that twice, and both builds sucked. And all similar builds I saw from others also sucked.
>>
>>2047943
What did you get?
Post bike

>>2047972
Plastic wrapped furniture type of post

>>2047984
Why’d they suck?
My grabbel is a modified 90s frame and it really rips. BB is a little higher than ”real” gravel bikes but the handling and geo is good.

Haha, might very well happen to mine as well. I probably could spend the same amount on an entry level gravel bike and be way better off. But that's not the point.

I'd say I do that fairly often.
