I was riding a shove on a tank car for about 15 miles back to the yard around 10PM, and some idiot in a sprinter van limo stopped on the tracks. I bailed off entering the crossing and we only barely missed hitting him because he inched forward at the last second. I was furious and went up to the driver window, pounded on it, and cursed him up and down with a bright headlight pointing right in his face.Near the same crossing(it was by a bunch of college bars) I kicked some idiot walking along the tracks in the back while riding the shove. I yelled and yelled before for him to move before, but he would have got clipped by the platform if I didn't kick him. He took a tumble but was drunk enough he didn't feel much. He gave me a fist bump and thanked me.

I heard it and then came to check it out) and thrown off the road entirely. Seemed like they dislocated their arm, and were dazed and confused enough that they wanted to like... just walk away or something? Me and the other witnesses just kind of tried to fence him in and keep him from wandering off, and from face-planting every time his legs gave out.The internal bleeding thing reminded me of that, because one of the witnesses tried to give him water and I was like, "no-no-no, don't give anyone water after a car accident. If they are thirsty that's a possible symptom of internal bleeding and the water can make it worse."

I had classes in the morning and I was working and needed to sleep and study. It was pretty dope working 5 hours a night and getting paid for 10.
While riding my bicycle to work, in bright daylight, in a left turn on a slight hill, a car came speeding dead centre towards me, graybearded driver just drinking schnaps from a hip flask, on the wrong side of the road! Both of us looking at each other wide-eyed, immediatelly swerving to evade, missing each other by half an inch.

>>2061591the worst time i ever fel tin the navy we were doing a fire exercise, and being all gung-ho i put whatever firesuit "fit" onwe got in there and i couldn't move after kneeling down once. the suit was just too tight. i got into some posture I couldn't get out of and spouted "I CAN'T MOVE!!" and the guys in the space suspended the exercise. I felt really bad because really it was literally just that my pants were too tight to get back up after kneeling. so the red hats stopped the whole thing (at least in that space).but i learned an important lesson myself. only take gear that fits. the ship can burn to the fucking waterline. you won't help it not do that if you can't even move because your gear is too tight. you're useless to the team if you can't move around properly because you tried to put on the first thing available. and even then, it probably won't even work to keep you from burning to death if it's all pressed up from being that tight on you.
